We stayed in Manarola for two nights. Manarola is the "postcard" town usually used in pictures of Cinque Terre. It was very beautiful indeed with many areas to relax while taking in the views. The two closest towns were Riomaggiore and Caniglia. Unfortunately the easy and beautiful hiking trails were closed due to landslides but "lucky" for us the insanely difficult goat routes were open. While breathtakingly beautiful they are definitely better suited for goats than people.
