Statue of David by Michelangelo
It truly was an honor to be in the presences of such a renowned piece of artwork from the 16th century that we still marvel at today. To actually see the original statue of David carved from the very hands of Michelangelo..and not some replica outside a Las Vegas casino. It truly made me realize how lucky I am.
I highly recommend that you buy the tour for 33 Euro. Otherwise you could wait in line during busy season for -2-3hrs. We had a set time to be there with a 15min wait and a very informative tour guide. #score
