Redirected

After sleeping on the floor of a closed mountain hut with no amenities and two other backpackers, we had to reroute our trek due to risk of avalanches. We waited to cross our 10,000 foot pass "col des Gentianes" but without crampons and snow gear we are unable to succeed.. Although we didn't sleep in the lap of luxury, as you can see from the photos, it was truly an unearthly and breathtaking experience to wake up on top of the clouds.  We will be back on track tomorrow.
